He was then elected for two full terms, serving almost 11 years. He has twice run for the Republican Presidential nomination, has hosted a national weekly program of news and commentary for seven years, and has written 12 books, several of them best-sellers. Leigh Anne is a vocal advocate for faith, pro-life and racial reconciliation issues. She and her husband Sean have two other children besides Michael, their adopted son: daughter Collins and son S.J. The Tuohys co-authored the 2010 book, In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving.
